This property currently is tax exempt because it is owned by Royersford Baptist Church. The portion that would be sold to Mission First—where the project will be constructed—will pay property taxes. Because the rents at Cypress Place will be lower than they would be at a typical apartment complex, it’s possible that the amount of taxes paid will be less than at a comparable market rate development in the area.
Cypress Place at Royersford will enable people who work in our community to live in our community. Cypress Place at Royersford has been designed to reduce its impact on the environment and surrounding properties. The building will be close to the Church building and take advantage of underutilized parking on the site.
